COVID-19 Updates

This pages is designed to provide the most current updates to market business. Please refer back for any new information.

In accordance with current state and federal guidelines, masks are not required for entering the market. However, please bring a mask with you as individual vendors may choose to require them while shopping at their booth. We also encourage our unvaccinated customers to remain masked. Vendors continue to be spread out in order to allow for physical distancing and we encourage everyone to be mindful of themselves and those around them while visiting Blue Hill Farmers’ Market this season.

As of April 12, 2021

We will continue to host an outdoor market and we are pleased to bring back guest vendors and live music.

We continue to follow all federal, state, and local guidelines for COVID-19. This means some changes may occur with little to no notice and we thank you for your patience and understanding. Please follow any additional precautions while visiting the market. The health and safety of our vendors and our customers remains our top priority while continuing to navigate this pandemic.

As of January, 2021

As we begin to organize our market for 2021, we will continue to follow all local, state, and federal guidelines. More information will be shared later this winter and early-spring.

This will be an outdoor market only. All of the vendors you are used to seeing in the building will now be outside. All vendors will be spaced with 6’ between booths and arranged in such a fashion that folks can stand in lines while maintaining a distance of 6’.

Want to skip the lines? Ask vendors what their pre-order options are. Horsepower Farm is taking pre-orders over the phone and King Hill Farm will have pre-ordering available on their website soon.

The Blue Hill Farmers Market values the health and safety of its vendors and customers. We are working hard behind the scenes to adapt our market to be a safer place for everyone. In addition to extra measures taken by the BHFM, we will be following all state guidelines set forth by Governor Mills. Unfortunately, at this time there will be no artists, crafters, or musicians at the market. There will be farmers (including flowers), bakers, prepared foods, soap, and Buggle. Vendors are encouraged to do pre-orders and/or "grab and go bags" to minimize lines and crowds. Please check with individual vendors to see what their pre-order options are. Booths will be spaced to help folks maintain 6' of distance.

We ask that you wear your face covering per Governor Mills' order and the vendors will do the same. There will be a hand washing and sanitizing space for both vendors and shoppers to use.  Please do not touch products, the vendors will grab them for you. Some vendors may require exact change, a check, or a credit card so please come prepared.

Market will decidedly look different this season but we, the vendors, are very much looking forward to seeing our loyal customers once again (even if it just the top half of your faces!). And you, the customer, can look forward to the high-quality goods you are used to. We will keep this page updates as things evolve. Looking forward to a great opening day on May 23rd! Thank you for your support!
